Marine joinery is the hardest test a cabinetmaker can take. Nothing aboard a boat is flat or square, so every piece is scribed and hand-fitted to a curved hull that flexes and moves at sea. The work has to hold up to humidity, vibration, and salt air for years.
It is also the least forgiving work to finish. Yacht interiors are built in fine veneers under high-gloss varnish, and gloss magnifies every flaw. There is nowhere for a mistake to hide.
That is the standard behind every job, on the water or on land.
